Finance career in India?

I am at last stage of my commerce degree from a reputed university in Australia. I am looking to major in Finance and Accounting. At this stage i have secured a role in an Australian bank and I would be expecting a package of atleast $45 000 per annum. I see India booming up, and want to go back. I am confused about job prospects there and my salary packaging, & how difficult or easy it is to find a decent job there?
