MBA Finance from India? what job profile shud i apply for?

I have done my post graduation specialising in Finance from India. Have no knowledge of GAAP or such things related to US finance. Don't want to go for accounting jobs? What else can i apply for?? What do financial anlysts do? I think an ideal job for me wud be where a company can train me for it? Any suggestion for profiles and companies? have wrkd 3 years in india in a non-financial background.

1. Unfortunately you cannot expect to get an MBA level position in North America with your degree. That's just the way life goes, without experience in Canada or USA, you will not get in. I would aim for entry level positions with major corporations, banks, investment firms ... once you're in, start immediately on a recognized certification, i.e. Certified Financial Planner or something similar. In a couple of years you'll have the work experience, the North American certification and your MBA in your arsenal and will be able to move up the ladder very quickly. Good luck.
