A friend of mine is visiting from India, and we are wondering where he can exchange his currency?
Looking to exchange his currency on the spot. He is not a member of a United States Bank.

- I think most banks have some sort of exchange program. If not, ask customs.
- from where ur friend is coming? if he is coming by plan so need not worry to exchange his currency in air port it self exchange counter & state Bank of india counters available, ur firend must show his pass port and take what ever he have currencies ( any country of currency he he can change from that counters.......
- at the airport they have a exchange currency counter
- 1. Airport . 2. Banks in almost in every city . 3. Currency exchange counters of companies like Centrum, Thomas Cook etc . in major cities. 4. Some shops and restaurants in the tourist places ( mostly illegal).
- There are foreign exchange counters at the airport, where he can exchange the currency.
- All the airport in India have exchange counters but the rates there would not be favorable to you. You can have your account in MNC Banks like Citibank, HSBC etc and get it exchanged at local branch in India. Alternatively you can keep your international credit card and pay by that in India.
