Is PAN required to open a student bank account in Central Bank of India? Give me the information source also?

1. For each bank the KYC documents are different. Normally PAN cards / Voters ID Are normally accepted as proof for identity. Aadhar / Smart card also accepted. In case of student letter from the institute/ principal may be adequate.
