do the electrical appliances made in india with the indian plugs work in australia?

i mean i need to send some lamps made in india to australia, will they work? is there some frequency changes in the electricity? what changes will i have to make in the wiring to be compatible to oz use

2. I'm not sure sweetie, but we have 240 volts or watts, well something like that ~ maybe contact the manufacturer and find out for sure ~ good luck :)
