Do the Indians of India "steal" all American jobs and ruin the economy?

Not being mean. Oh and this is about the Indians of India (not native american). I'm NOT talking about outsourcing. I'm talking about the Indian nerds who come to the US (legally), study and take up big jobs. But a friend was telling that the Indians who come to the US from India actually steal our jobs and devastate the economy and that they should be sent home immediately. Are they smart enough or do they deserve to be in the US?

3. I interview for a very high tech company. We need engineers with a Ph.D in their field, who can write software as well as someone who has a Master's degree in Computer Science. I looked for a US Citizen to fill a recent position for 9 months, and every single person I interviewed turned out to be a doofus. I just wanted someone who could get security clearance, as we have some clients that design weapons systems. Eventually, I gave up and hired the best candidate I could find (an Indian). He has been one of the hardest workers I've had the privilege of working with. Far too many Americans use immigration as an excuse when they are lazier, less experienced and less motivated than other candidates. For blue collar jobs, I can see the argument for illegal aliens lowering the market wage. For high paying tech jobs, forcing a company to hire a US Citizen is just a form of affirmative action. Best candidate wins, for these very important and sought after jobs.

They already did to our Singapore Government of PAP! but they are shlt in doing big things. e.g. yesterday government flu meeting, one reporter's question need 2 india indians to answer then the minister then the acting prime minister then the TV producer cut off the ugly scene back to the new telecast presenter. not just one time ok? a few times. imao... big things not yet happened oredi kalan kaboo sia. hee hee. oh they are not think as good as u think u know? u can question me for proof if u want to. i am ok with it. hee hee.
6. Obama supports this read his website and keep going in page after page. It gives it all away like a nested Russian Doll. Its disgusting Obama does it openly and admits it. They do not get past the donate page and Photo Ops.
7. Mexicans and Indians are responsible for at least 2% of our unemployment rate -- stealing jobs from hard working Americans.
8. India steals nothing. Big banks and other companies outsource cheap labor by sending it to India. They don't even have to come here to man phones for customer service American Banks. They cut costs that way and we get stuck on hold from someone in New Delhi.

10. Anyone who comes to the US legally and has a student/work visa is entitled to work. Your friend is an idiot. Would you rather they sit on the couch and draw welfare?
11. If any immigrant comes here legally, then I don't see the problem. I certainly don't see the problem of someone who works hard to achieve his skills and then uses them for another country's benefit. I don't complain that Albert Einstein emigrated from Germany and set up shop here. Before an employer can give any non-U.S. citizen a job, he or she must demonstrate that he or she actively advertised the job to U.S. citizens for an extended period of time and that the other candidates for the job were not as qualified as the non-citizen. Also, a non-citizen cannot take a job with the government, a very large employer, without taking the citizenship test. So, Americans born in the U.S. have a good advantage over immigrants competing for jobs on U.S. soil. Hope that helps!

What pisses me off are the ones whom come here to exploit our country and not embrace it or the ones whom bring crime disease poverty and filth. 15. Um, no. I have many wonderful, smart, Indian friends who have worked hard to get where they are. America is supposedly the "land of opportunity" and these people work hard and take it. They don't ruin the economy at all. Your friend, I'm sorry to say, is very ignorant.
