Can I pay with a credit/debit card from India for e-shopping?

Can I pay with a credit card/debit card for paying in dollars or pounds for e-shopping outside India sitting in India? Or does it ask for a written application to the Reserve Bank of India, for permission to spend dollars/foreign currency beforehand?

definitely you can pay the bills but its not safe & recommendable as well if you wanna go for online shopping indiaplaza is one of the most reliable online shopping platform for indians so just think over it for once..

Hi Samar, You can surely pay bills and can do online shopping through Credit and Debit cards but fact is that, it is not always safe to do online shopping.. For example you are paying the bill, there are chances that there can be transactions that are debited twice or may be the transaction can be cancelled but the amount will be debited from your account... so please make sure...that you are using your credit cards and debit cards for urgent purpose else go and have a personal shopping...
