Can i deposit a cheque by fax in my Indian Bank account?

I am not sure if indian banks take cheque by fax? I have account in around 7-8 different Indian bank account and i want to know if they can accept such cheques that i recieve from my US clients?

1. I highly doubt any reputable bank in the world would accept a foreign check via FAX, but post this under Answers India or call/email one of your banks to make sure.
