Why can't we manufacture our own brand of cars in the Philippines? If the Koreans can do it, and now the India government done it why can't we Filipinos make a car of our own? We cannot compare ourselves with the Japanese. It is like comparing a 10 year old boy(Filipinos) sucking a lollipop with a college student(Japanese). Let us concentrate on Korea alone. Before and after the start of World War2 they were enslaved by the Japanese Imperial government. After the war they bowed never to buy Japanese products including Japanese cars.
