When will Volkswagen Auto introduced New Beetle in India? I want to buy a great luxurious car only made by the Volkswagen Brand car in india, if any one have some information about new launch beetle car so please informed me. because i am really excited for buy a new car. And also tell about price?
Why can't we manufacture our own brand of cars in the Philippines? If the Koreans can do it, and now the India government done it why can't we Filipinos make a car of our own? We cannot compare ourselves with the Japanese. It is like comparing a 10 year old boy(Filipinos) sucking a lollipop with a college student(Japanese). Let us concentrate on Korea alone. Before and after the start of World War2 they were enslaved by the Japanese Imperial government. After the war they bowed never to buy Japanese products including Japanese cars. And through the years they developed their own concept of making their own brand of cars that we see today(Hyundai/Daewoo/Kia etc). If you believe we Filipinos are smart enough compared to the Koreans why can't we make a car of our own? And for me I will name it -FILIPINO, why not? What do you think? Can we do it? No not 50 years from now but NOW NA. I want to see the negative response of all people here, knowing Filipinos they got plenty of negative answers than positive ones. Do you think we can do it? If some of you say we have one then where is it? It must be mass produce so that most Filipinos can afford to buy this car made in the Philippines. Imagine India manufactured the cheapest car in the world probably $1,000 only. I have read that in one column. Which comes to mind why in the heck we Filipinos cannot built something that can last forever? What's wrong with us? I think the only thing we are good at is giving criticism to one another, throw mud or dirty things to one another. That is what we Filipinos are good at. Example is this Big Mouth, telling me I only good in ngawa then ask a good question coming from own then, the only question you asked then is cheating ok isn't it? You should have asked a child of 6 years old if cheating is good or not she or he can provide you the honest answer. Because a child never lie. Filipinos are jealous type, mapang-api, mapanibugho, mapanira ng kapwa....matanglawit. Let me guess...this idea of mine just like the previous ones is again not feasible. But let thy answers be heard for all of us to see. I should had been born in another time and place most probably. Maybe in France. Kasi parang concept ng idea ko some says comes from a comic books. As if you people do not see what I see or think what I think. I'm not taking drugs. Probably I am just a visionary, I do not like my country the Philippines to be like this only do you? It is raining outside, aren't we?(joke)

How far will technology advance in the next 20 years? In 2030, how will technology be different from now.. Im just curious and want to see how people answer this. It's only 2010, and India made a $35 tablet computer. Very much like the ipad but much cheaper. Italy made a car that drives automatically, by itself. They have sent it all the way to China, which is 14,000 miles away, to test the automatic car.

VW to make cars in India? VW emblems on a production line at a Volkswagen plant. Volkswagen, Europe's leading automaker, signed a deal to build a 410-million-euro (539 million US) plant in western India at a site state officials said will become "the Detroit" of India. How will this affect the lives of the people working there? Is this not a feather in the cap for India? Will this affect the quality of the cars? Will they be cheaper due to lower costs? http://uk.news.yahoo.com/29112006/323/photo/vw-emblems-production-line-volkswagen-plant.html 'ithehit' would be better of sticking his nose elsewhere. Iraq, Afghanistan, the Sudan or smelly, stinky, home of all terrorists, exporter of terrorism to the world, murderous Pakistan.
Price of engine oil & oil filters for cars in India? Please suggest the following: 1. Price / litre for engine oil for cars in India. Price for any brand is ok although Castrol GTX & Castrol GTD are preferred. 2. Average price for oil filters? Why doesn't India renew its nation's fleet of cars? That's really inconsistent that in a superpower like India, the fleet of cars all over the country remained very old. Why don't get rid of those antiquated british colonial cars like all cabs of Mumbai ? We've got a powerful car industry like Tata which makes now modern cars. So why get stick to these old-fashioned 10,000 year-old cars? That's make the difference with China, which has got a new brand fleet of cars
Best car make in India? I'm not a auto expert . but to know which is best because to own. Like Mobiles Sony Ericsson rocks. Which car makes rocks in each & each everything to be in a car?
Why don't people know about Moteur Development International, France who make cars run on compressed air? Is the answer to keep people ignorant so that greedy manufacturers can go on polluting the planet and fighting wars for oil? The answer is to spread the word about the Tata Motor Company in India and MDI in France and another company in Melborne, Australia who are all producing the cleanest cars on the planet that cost very little to run using compressed air. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem. Go green today. Stop using gas guzzling, polluting vehicles and get a really clean car that uses only air. If you are really so concerned about pollution get entrepeneurs, engineers and scientists to produce compressed air cars of your own in the greedy polluting United States of America before the whole world is brought into a war because of the silly short sighted need for oil. Make sure you vote green and inform all Democrats about the green solution. The Republicans are past help. They are mostly selfish greedy mean warmongers who think money is better than people.
India..Car costing £1499.00? HOW? has anyone heard of this car they've made in India that only costs £1499.00? My stepdad told me he had seen it on Teletext this morning..Makes you wonder doesnt it? If they can do it, WHY THE HELL CANT WE?? Apparently it doesnt have electric windows etc., its just a basic car, but who gives a damn if its like that? I could certainly use a car for that price, without all the mod cons...with all the ipods, mp3 etc for music; and the hands for winding down the windows; etc... All sounds pretty damned good to me... What do you think? Would you buy one? Cos apparently, they ARE on the way here... yes i DO mean fourteen HUNDRED and ninety nine pounds
How many CITY ROVER CARS are there in UK? I thought that city rover cars from rover were really rubbish then why is it that i see lots and lots of city rover cars in UK now days. How can Tata ask the British government for money? to support Jaguar/Land-Rover and then announce that they are going to pump in millions of pounds to support the Ferrari F1 team which is owned by Fiat just because they have a joint venture with them making cars in India. I am sure that it will give British fans of F1 a real feeling of pleasure to see Ferrari winning next season with £500 million of tax payers money indirectly subsidising it. As Terry Wogan would say "is it me" or is it everyone else that is mad?

How can we reduce pollution in India, so we can reduce global warming? As we all know, global warming is real and if we don't stop it serious damage could take over the world-India's population is very large and it counts for a large amount of pollution-So how can we reduce pollution in India? I thought about making traffic rules, so cars dont speed away and leave fumes everywhere but I think that isn't very good. What do you think? Monkey M. . .you know what you said about birth control? That's true but mean. . . I woulda chosen u for best answer . . .but that idea of 'punishing' is cruel!

Will we see Tesla motors become more popular in the near future? they make cars that are fuel efficient and less harmful to the environment as where ford, GM and Chrysler has left it a bit too late! What type of car company will we see in the next year or five years from now that will become successful and others fail? will we see a new car from India that will become a big seller!
What are the best-selling cars where you are? What models/makes of cars are popular where you live? I've lived in four countries, and in order of living there, the models there were: India: Suzuki Alto Nepal: Toyota Corolla Dubai, UAE: Toyota Camry England, UK: Ford Focus
Will Force India Do Better In Formula 1 This Year? Will Force India be more productive in their second year in F1? They have a new engine contract with Mercedes-Benz, and a year's experience under their belts. They also have the advantage that all teams are starting from scratch on their 2009 cars. But will it make any difference to their performance? 1. Will they score any points this season? 2. Will they qualify in the midfield this season? 3. Will they get a podium this season?
Why electric cars are not finding good market in India inspite of very low running expences .? Day in and day out we are hearing of good outturn of petrol/diesel driven cars of various make but we wre not hearing anything about electrical car of Rewa car company , any progress in it's advancement or production capacity nor their are any new production in the segment of such cars inspite of the car being pollution friendly with low running costs as well. Such cars can atleast become popular within city limits.
What other materials can I use to make a car ? I have been working in Automotive design for 30yrs and have used the usual variety of materials to make concept vehicles, and a few unconvetional resources too, like hemp for a taxicab used in Bangladesh. I recently read of a car from India that will only cost $2500 not only because of the cheap labor but also because of the inovative materials used. Does anyone have any clever ideas for materials that could be used in making a cheap vehicle? I like the rubber ball idea. using a solar powered compressor to keep it inflated is good. I assume it is driven by a solar powered electric motor, but how is it propelled? I'd like to use carbon fiber but it is so expensive. What other fibers can we use? Bamboo? or a geneticly engineered straw?
Regarding CNG fitted Accent car (India relevant question)? I am using an Accent car with CNG kit. Recently some mechanic worked on it and did something funny. Since then, thew car has totally lost pick up. I have shown it to many CNG mechanics but no one has any clue about this problem. Can anyone help? PS: It makes a strange humming sound everytime I change gears, similar to old carburator type cars.
Has Slumdog Millionaire cost India many tourist dollars? That movie did not portray India in a pleasant light. Not only was it horrifically dirty, but the scenes of the children stealing shoes at the Taj Mahal, purses from people watching shows, and dismantling and stripping cars, stealing everything, probably has made the Indian Tourism Board and government hopping mad, I'd imagine. I'm surprised it hasn't been banned there.
How do we convince China and India to stop polluting the Earth? I was watching the BBC's ten O'Clock news last night and they had a report that says China has now become the world's worst polluter they are building 2 coal power stations every week and you and me are contributing to this by buying TV's and cars and other cheap products that come out of China. We have that big concert coming up on 7th July how can we convince the leaders in China and India to stop what they are doing and start using reknewable sources. China has now over taken the UK and US to become the worlds biggest polluter. I mean when I see this happen I feel angry because all our hard work is being ruined by China and India. I do my bit I recycle and switch lights off and so forth. So what can we do to convince India and China most especially that what they are doing is going to make global warming worse. Dicky I did mention that China has over taken the US to become the worlds worst polluter. I agree that America can do better (sounds like a school report card lol) by becoming less dependent on oil and sign up to the Kyoto agreement. Maybe when Bush is out of office something will be done but expect anything done under the Bush administration. But something has to be done about China.
